A written Contract - All Registered Builders and Remodelors must offer a written contract, which allows a customer
to review all the details prior to the start of construction.
References - Prior to becoming a Registered Builder or Remodelor a member must furnish the Association Board
with references from the following: banks, previous customers, suppliers, subcontractors.
Proof of Insurance - Having the proper insurance can mean all the difference in the world if something should the
need arise during construction. Registered Builders and Remodelors must show proof of the following insurance coverages: worker's compensation, builder liability .
Proven Professionalism - A Registered Builder or Remodelor can not be a moonlighter. All members must derive
their principle income from the building industry .
Continuing Education - Every Registered Builder and Remodelor must agree to at least five hours of continuing
education each year, which keeps them current with the latest information in the housing industry .
A Conciliation Program - Should the need arise the Registered Builder and Remodelor program will sponsor a
conciliation program in an effort to solve any confusion between a builder or remodelor and the customer.
